The eEye Digital Security Research Team has always practiced responsible disclosure regarding the dissemination of information related to network security. Upon discovery, eEye Research alerts the manufacturer of the flawed platform in coordination with US-CERT.
In the effort to track the responsiveness of the vendors involved, eEye produces an advisory timeline, the details of which can be viewed below. eEye expects the vendor to provide remediation for these flaws within 60 days of notification. After 60 days, these flaws are considered "Overdue". As a service to the network security community, eEye provides general information about these discoveries, including vendor, description and affected applications and operating systems. Once the flaws have been rectified, eEye will provide a detailed advisory for it, which will be added to our advisory archive, as well as audits within eEye's Retina Network Security Scanner to identify the presence of the flaws on a network.

While these vulnerabilities remain unpatched, users should be extremely vigilant and closely review the firewall settings for systems using the affected platforms.
