eEye Digital Security was established in 1999 with a single goal in mind, to strive to understand vulnerabilities better than any other organization. This knowledge was then to be harnessed to provide our customers with the best possible security products that could both detect security vulnerabilities and prevent attacks. At the heart of all this effort is the eEye Research Team who works tirelessly to push the limits of vulnerability research not only from a technical aspect, but also from a social perspective to educate others with the raw honesty that is not typically found in most business organizations.

This is one of the reasons that the eEye Research Team is simply called the eEye Research Team rather than some moniker that you would find in a comic book. Research is a part of the soul of eEye and makes us who we are as a company and allows us to deliver the best security products possible.

This fusion between Research and the rest of eEye allows us to think and move our entire company so that we benefit our customers and the security community in a way that is not possible at other security companies which think of research as a "side effect" of being able to do business.

We have had a truly amazing journey over the last many years of eEye research beyond the many critical discoveries we have made, but also the progress we have forced at companies like Microsoft, completely helping change how they build software as a company. We look forward to many more years of interesting research, and we hope to see you all out there.
